Speech-Language Pathologist

For more than 25 years, Kristin has specialized in treating adults with neurologic impairments. She received her master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and her bachelor’s degree in speech pathology from the University of Florida. Go Gators! She received her fourth ACE award in 2024 for exceeding the requirement for continuing education hours in speech pathology.

Her passion is to provide exemplary, evidence-based speech therapy for adults with swallowing impairments (dysphagia), head and neck cancer, voice disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological impairments.  Her primary focus is to improve your ability to communicate, laugh, share stories with others, and eat your favorite foods again.

Her expertise has been recognized through presentations at both the university and state levels, and she is a guest speaker on popular podcasts, including Swallow Your Pride, The Missing Link for SLPs, Keys for SLPs, and My Living Media. Kristin is actively involved with professional organizations, including FLASHA, SIG13, NFOSD, and SPOHNC, furthering her mission to improve the quality of life for those with communication and swallowing disorders. She is certified in the McNeill Dysphagia Treatment Program, NMES AmpCare, ARK-J for trismus and SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program. She is trained in manual therapy/myofascial release for improved voice and swallowing outcomes and performs FEES swallow studies in the SpeeechRx office to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Kristin enjoys relaxing at the beach, exercising, watching college football and basketball, and spending time with her husband and two boys.

Samantha Keating, M.A. CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Samantha (Sam) is a dedicated Medical Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in diagnosing and treating dysphagia, voice disorders, and cognitive communication impairments. She earned her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida.

Sam had the privilege of receiving extensive training at the Aphasia House Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program at UCF, where she gained specialized expertise in treating individuals with aphasia. She completed her final internship at SpeechRx in Stuart, FL, further refining her skills in the treatment of aphasia, head and neck cancer, dysphagia, chronic cough, voice disorders, dysarthria, and cognitive communication deficits. This experience deepened her understanding of the complexities of communication disorders and fostered a strong sense of empathy and compassion in her approach to patient care.

Sam is a passionate advocate for individuals with dysphagia, always going above and beyond to support both her patients and members of Dysphagia Digest. In her free time, she stays active through exercise and Pilates and loves exploring new places through travel.
